I had been hearing about Peco and their electric rates raising for the past few months now but just like most people, hadn't done anything to switch yet. We have been hearing all over the news about Pennsylvania Electric Suppliers.
Finally, a friend told me that she just switched over to North American Power and got her first bill with them. North American Power had actually lowered her bill about 10%. I looked at her bill. It was still a PECO bill but North American Power's rate of 8.99 was on the bill instead of PECO'S 9.99 rate. A full 10% savings. That's what triggered me into signing up. I have just signed up and the best part about the system is that I still get my PECO bill. North American Power is just a line item and a supplier on the bill. PECO still does the billing and delivers the electric so no matter what, there is no risks involved with signing up for the North American Power plan. I highly recommend it to anyone considering lowering their PECO bill. I mean why not? 10% of the same bill? You'd have to be crazy not to sign up!
